BRC 450: Communication Science Media is a class at SUNY Oswego that allows student to learn how science impacts communication is today’s society. With a class made up of 20 students, interactive discussions and intensive research contributes to the core concepts taught in class.
Our mission is to cover the nature of science, and its interactions with media. Scientists communicate with each other through technical presentations and peer-reviewed journal articles, both outlets that miss the larger public. To bolster public trust in science, journalists, scientists, and writers must communicate scientific research through media that is engaging and interesting.
